Sal and his fam always make a great regular pie. Grew up in this town and love their regular pies, whenever I'm visiting fam always make sure to stop by to grab a regular pie to bring back.
When i heard about Brooklyn Pizza who better to know the difference between a good pie and a wanna be pie, would only be one who lived and was born in Brooklyn so after going to different places in Smithtown,Commack,i decided to go to Brooklyn Pizza at 100 Commack in the Mayfair Shopping Center.Well i ordered a Large Pie with Extra Cheese and like everything else on Long Island price was a little high but so be it. But when i got home the first thing i always check is the Crust,Sauce,and especially the Cheese which to me makes a Excellent Pie. But when i and a few friends took a slice and started to have we all said the same thing, there Cheese was 100% Spot On and Sauce and Crust was also excellent, So far in the Commack and Smithtown Area you Pizzerias cannot even come close to the real taste of Brooklyn Pizzeria and there Cheese and Pie.
Went with my grandson to do one of my pizza reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The cheese pizza tasted great. Felt it was really fresh ingredients and quite delicious . Very good crust, not really thick.My grandson who's pretty fussy gave it on the barstool ratings a 9.3 . I gave it an 8.5 which means I'd go out of my way to get pizza from this place. The owner who served us was awesome and very friendly. Great pizzeria ambiance, love that. I will be back!
My family has been going here for 10+ years and the food has always been excellent! Everyone is always so friendly, the food is always ready on time, and is always hot! One of my favorite things to get is their Caesar salad or their stuffed garlic knots, delicious!
My sister is new to the area so we have been trying different spots. Today we ordered a penne alla vodka pizza pie, calamari and zeopples. The pizza was a good size and the vodka sauce was delicious. We liked the fact that it is not overly saucy. Calamari also good, very generous portion. Zeopples are hefty, nice and dense. We definately will be ordering again.
